A message from GRANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT

I am sending along information on a couple of conditions that we have seen at Grant School recently.  The first is head lice.  Head lice is a common occurence in elementary schools but we have seen an uptick this year.  Included with this email is a letter with general information on head lice, including how to identify, treat, and prevent head lice.  The second is Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD).  There have been a couple of confirmed cases of Grant students with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease so as a precaution we are sending along information on this very contagious condition.  In most cases, this condition is only mild and does not pose a serious health risk, but we are asking that you please review this information and closely monitor your student to keep kids safe.

Thank you for your cooperation in working with us.  GO COUGARS!
