Hello everyone and happy Monday evening everyone. This is Mr. Freeman and I am emailing from Grant School with a look at the upcoming week. But first, I want to look back to last week and congratulate our 2018-19 Grant School Cheer Squad and our new Student Council leaders elected in our Student Council elections on Friday. I look forward to working with you next year. Let’s finish this year. Hard to believe but there are only two weeks left and this week is a big one. Let’s start with tomorrow with our TK-6th grade concert in the Watson Gym tomorrow morning 8:45-9:45. Wednesday we will have our Band and Choir concert. There will be two performances, the first at 1:15 and the last show at 6:00. Music Boosters will be on hand selling the very popular Jamba Juice punch cards. Event parking will be available for concerts on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday morning PTO will have their last Box Top collection of the school year. They will be outside the District Office from 7:40 to 8:40 so bring in your box tops for your chance to win a prize. Our monthly Board Meeting will be at 6:30 pm on Thursday in the Grigsby Library. Friday is Beach Day and there will be a preschool performance at 9:45 in the Watson Gym. The yearbooks are coming out soon so I want to remind everyone that it is that time of the year to turn in library books and pay cafeteria balances so yearbooks can be distributed without interruption. There is also still time for parents to participate in this year’s parent survey. Just go to our district’s home page and click on the Parents tab. Your input matters and we would love to hear how we can do more to meet the needs of our students. That’s it for me. Thanks for all that you have done to support Grant School this year. Let’s expect the best as we finish strong. GO COUGARS!
