Our Plan for Success
Grant School offers a complete schooling experience from preschool to eighth grade. We offer a solid foundation in the essentials of reading, writing, arithmetic, science, and history, while also providing opportunities for your child to develop skills in sports, music, and languages. In addition, we offer advanced learning opportunities, hands-on Learn by Doing activities, and homeschool support.
At Grant Preschool, our staff endeavors to make preschool a positive experience for your children. With a low student–teacher ratio, we are equipped to give your child individual attention. We encourage suggestions and input from parents, which enables us to be more effective. Together, we can introduce your child to basic concepts through the fun of play.
Our elementary educational program begins with kindergarten where children are equipped with the skills needed for successful learning throughout their lifetime. Our grade school then trains children in elementary subjects according to Common Core standards, as well as providing extracurricular opportunities for a well-rounded education.
Our seventh and eighth graders have access to some of the finest programs in Shasta County. In middle school, we continue equipping our students for successful learning in high school and beyond. Our core curriculum includes language arts, math, physical education, science, social studies, and personal growth. Extracurricular opportunities include band, choir, and Spanish.
In addition to ensuring that our core curriculums adhere to California’s Common Core standards, we offer development programs to suit the varying talents and abilities of our students. We also work with homeschooling families and with community groups to support learning objectives. In every way, we are committed to providing integrated, diverse learning opportunities.
