Good Tuesday evening everyone.  This is Mr. Freeman emailing from Grant Elementary School with a quick look at the rest of the week in Cougar country.  Let’s start with tomorrow.  We will be on a Minimum Day tomorrow with 4-6 getting out at 12:15, 7-8 out at 12:45, and TK-3 done at 1:15.  Our teachers in grades 4-8 will be getting reading for their Open House which will be tomorrow night from 6:30-7:30.  Parents and students are invited to come and celebrate the learning and hard work that has gone into this school year.  Event parking will be available and it really is a great time so we hope everyone can make it.   Moving ahead to Friday, I am excited to announce that we will be holding our Spring Sports and Student Council Election Assembly Friday from 1:10-2:10 in the Watson Gymnasium.  Good luck to all of our candidates.  While I have you on the line, I want to make sure that you have our spring concert series on your calendars.  Our TK-6th grade concert will be in the gym from 8:45-9:45 on Tuesday, May 21st.  Event parking will be available and the concert will be streamed live on the District’s Facebook page.  Our Spring Band and Choir Concert will be on Wednesday, May 22nd with two shows.  The first will be at 1:15 and the second at 6:00.  Thank you to our Music Director Rachel Knott and for all of the hard work that our students have put in to get ready for our spring concerts.  Last thing on my list is to remind our parents to complete the Parent Survey that can be found on our web site.  This is your chance to let us know how we are doing and how we can improve next year.  Your input really does matter so please take a few minutes and let us know what you think.  Okay, that’s it for me.  Thanks for Making Every Day Count.  Have a great night and GO COUGARS!
