Attention Grant Parents!
We just wanted to send a reminder that this Friday is the last day to sign up during the PTO membership drive! Our goal is to see 100% of our families join us in supporting your childs education and extracurricular activities. As of tonight, 38% of our families have registered for our new website and 26% of our families have joined the PTO.
Here are some of the events the PTO sponsored last year:
$6000 grant for field trip transportation costs
$5000 grant for new Chromebooks for 3rd Grade
$1600 for a new emergency AED device
$5000 for classroom supplies and curriculum
We also host events such as the Art Fair, Science Fair, Spelling Bee, Kindergarten Roundup…
We have received a few questions which we wanted to clarify for you. The PTO membership does not require you to participate but the donation is key for the support of the various programs the PTO sponsors. Also, please remember that you need to register your account on our new Web Portal or through the smartphone app, and then add the membership from the shopping cart.
Even if you decide not to become a paid member of the PTO, we are still asking all our parents to create their accounts on the PTO’s Web Portal. This will allow us to bring you news and information on various school activities. The site can also be used for classroom signups by your child’s teacher or class parent for classroom parties, field trips and the like. Your participation is important to us and to your child’s education.

The classroom with the highest membership rate by the end of Friday will get a special treat! Thank you again for all your support and we look forward to another great schoolyear.
