Hello again everyone.  This is Mr. Freeman from the Grant Elementary School District and I am emailing to clarify a few things that have come up since last night’s message regarding the change of our first day from the originally scheduled August 15th to August 22nd.  Many have asked about Preschool start dates and whether our Daycare program will be available for students.  Let me start with the first question…Our Preschool start date will be Monday, August 20th.  Regarding the second question…We will be able to provide staff to offer full-day Daycare services (from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm) beginning on Wednesday, August 15th.  Because these services are related to our delayed start, we will be providing these services for free between August 15th and August 21st.  Once school starts on August 22nd, after school Daycare services will be available until 6:00 pm at the new rate of $3.50/hour.  I hope this information helps and I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.
