Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. This is a message from Grant Elementary School following up with everyone regarding the posting of class lists later this afternoon. This year we are excited to announce that we will be posting the class lists online and at the school. That’s right…we are making history today at 4:00 by posting the class lists on our district web site. They will be on a password-protected page under the Parents tab starting at 4:00. For those of you that would like to keep the tradition alive and come out to check it out they will also be posted outside the Main Office at 4:00. New student tours will also be offered by Student Council starting at 4:00.
So, here is how you access the class list page. First, go to our district site at grantschoolcougars.com. Next, go to the Parents tab and select the Class List 18-19 page. You will then be prompted to enter the password to view the class lists. The password for the page is (should have received in email). With that password you will be granted access to view the class lists to be able to see who your student’s teacher is and who his/her classmates will be.
While you are on the district page, I want to invite you to check out another major step forward in using technology to make life easier. Our new Assistant Principal, Erin Sutter, has been working with our great office team to put the majority of the contents of our First Day Packet online this year. You can review the information online and simply check the box that you did it and turn in the checklist. Now, this year is a transition year so there are still some contents that will be coming home to you via the traditional First Day Packet. Click here for to access the page for our online First Day Packet resources.
Things are starting to get exciting around here. I am looking forward to seeing you and your students bright and early tomorrow morning. Please be safe in the parking lot. Let’s Make Everyday Count and GO COUGARS!
