ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
Are you a parent or a student who has heard of Odyssey of the Mind but you don’t really know what it is about and you are interested in knowing more? If so, this meeting is for you!
Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program for students in grades kindergarten through college. Grant School has a strong tradition of sending teams that do very well at the regional, state, and world competitions. Last year one of our teams took 4th Place at the WORLD FINALS beating out teams from all over the world including China, Russia, and Korea. If you are interested in having your son or daughter participate on a team or you are interested in being a coach, please attend our Informational Meeting that will be held in Mr. Sharpe’s room at 6:30 on Wednesday, October 4th.
The Regional Coordinators of Odyssey of the Mind will give an overview of the OttM program, and this meeting will allow you to connect with other interested parents to see if we can form more teams for Grant School.
We will not have any teams if we don’t have coaches so please consider being a coach. I hope to see you at the meeting!
