Hello and happy Wednesday to you. This is Mr. Freeman emailing from Grant Elementary School calling with a mid-week update for you. These are exciting days at Grant School. I want to thank everyone for your support with our Harvest Festival last weekend. We had a ton of fun and we could not have done without the army of volunteers that helped out. Thank you everyone. With Harvest Festival and Halloween behind us, we are looking forward to a great November. This week there is a lot happening. Tomorrow PTO will be collecting box tops before school and all day in the Main Office. You can stop by and drop off your box tops right outside the District Office tomorrow morning for your chance to win a prize for the most box tops. Thank you PTO for your help with that. Speaking of PTO, we will have a PTO meeting tomorrow in the Grigsby Library at 3:00. On Friday we will have our Sports Booster meeting at 8:15 in the Conference Room. Sports Boosters wants you to know that the holiday Web Store is open from now until 11/19. You can check it out at our home page or on our Facebook page. It is the perfect time to get your gear and even gift Grant School gear to spread the Cougar spirit. Sports Boosters is also putting on the annual Daddy/Daughter Dance scheduled for November 9th. Tickets cost $20/couple and are available in the Main Office. This Friday afternoon we will be hosting our annual Veterans Day Assembly. This is an event you do not want to miss. The assembly will be in the Watson Gym starting at 1:00. Grant School invites all of our families and all of our veterans to come and celebrate with us. Event parking will be available. I hope to see you there. That’s a look at the rest of the week. Let’s expect the best together. Thanks for all the hard that everyone puts in and for your time tonight. Good night and GO COUGARS!
