Our Plan for Community Engagement
We partner with all stakeholders to develop and promote opportunities for all students and their families to engage in meaningful experiences at Grant School; we provide rigorous and relevant academic and social opportunities for all students.
What We Plan To Do
- Regularly hold recognition/appreciation event ($500)
- College field trips for junior high students ($7,000)
- Implement Peer Conflict Resolution ($1,500)
- 8th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in relevant social experiences with SUHSD students ($200)
- Continue Intramural program ($1,019)
- Enhance existing elective programs ($3,000)
- Provide peer recognition program ($1,750)
- Replace recess/PE equipment ($500)
- College and career lunch program for grades 4-8 ($400)
- Maintain district website and social media platforms (No Cost)
- Provide Triple P Parenting Workshops ($1,000)
- Establish a STEAM Center in Room P2 for use by teachers and Ed Tech Adviser ($2,000)
- Partner with PTO to launch school information app (No Cost)
- Transfer content from first day packet to digital (No Cost)
