A message from GRANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Good Monday evening everyone.  This is Mr. Freeman emailing from Grant Elementary School District with a quick look at things that are happening around Grant this week.  Let’s start bright and early tomorrow with our Music Boosters Meeting happening in the VAPA Room at 7:30.  On Wednesday, we will be on a Minimum Day schedule.  Grades 4-6 will get out at 12:15, 7-8 out at 12:45, and TK-3 out at 1:15.  Also happening on Wednesday at 1:00, we will have our auditions for dancers for Mary Poppins.  Those will be happening on the stage.  And this Friday it is one of my favorite annual events at Grant.  We open our doors and invite our entire Grant School community to come and celebrate our Veterans.  The assembly will start at 1:00 in the Watson Gymnasium and event parking will be available.  You will not want to miss this event, especially this year!  Before I let you go, I have a couple of reminders.  Our Sports Boosters web store is still open for a couple of weeks so you can gear up.  Also in observance of Veterans’ Day, Grant School will be closed this Monday.  Last thing, in light of the tragic accidents that have happened recently in different parts of the country, I just want to remind everyone to please drive safe.  Observe the speed limits and please do not drive distracted.  As our buses put their red flashing lights on, please stop.  The safety of our kids is our first priority and we need to work together to make sure that students get to school and get home safely.  Okay, I am out of time.  Thanks for listening.  Let’s Make Every Day Count.  GO COUGARS!
