A message from GRANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Happy Monday from Grant School.  Here is a look at a few things happening this week and beyond…

  1. This Wednesday (11/28) we will be on a Minimum Day schedule.  Grades 4-6 will be dismissed at 12:15.  Grades 7-8 will get out at 12:45.  TK-3 will be released at 1:15.  There are no minimum days in December.
  2. On Thursday (11/29) our Mary Poppins Bazaar team will be having a planning meeting.  The Bazaar is what makes the Grant School musical production unique every year and you can be a part of it.  If you are interested and available to help with this year’s Bazaar for Mary Poppins, you are invited to attend the meeting on Thursday (11/29) in Room 10 (Mrs. Henry) at 2:30.
  3. Friday night (11/30) our PTO is inviting everyone to come on out for a free Arts & Crafts Night.  The event will be held in the MUR/Cafeteria and will be from 5:00-7:30.  Chili and cornbread will be served and families will have several arts and crafts projects to choose from.  If you are interested in helping out with this year’s Arts and Crafts Night, please contact Tracee Kelly in the District Office.  This event is a fun and free family night and everyone is invited.
  4. Kim McClung in the Library is excited to invite everyone to the Winter Book Fair next week.  Book Fair hours will be Monday (12/3) through Thursday (12/6) from 7:30-8:20 and 2:00-4:30.  “Kid Free” shopping times are also available from 8:20-9:30 and 1:15-2:00.  Last chance shopping will be Friday (12/7) from 7:30-8:20 and “Kid Free” shopping from 8:20-9:30.  See attached flyers for more information.
