Hello everyone and happy Tuesday evening from Grant Elementary School District.  This is Mr. Freeman emailing with a quick look at upcoming events this week.  Let’s start with tomorrow.  We will be on a Minimum Day schedule with 4-6 getting out at 12:15, 7-8 out at 12:45, and TK-3 out at 1:15.  Girls Inc. will be meeting after school.  Thursday our PTO will be out collecting Box Tops before school.  Their table will be set up right next to the District Office so bring in those Box Tops for your chance to win a prize.  Friday we will have our Semi-Formal Masquerade Ball for 7th and 8th grade students.  The dance will be in the MUR from 7:00-9:30.  Saturday, February 24th we will have our annual CEF Dinner/Dance/Auction at Win River from 6:00-11:00.  Tickets are still available online or in the Main Office.  Art projects and silent auction items are coming in and it will be a great event so don’t miss it!  You can go to our Facebook page for a preview of some of the art auction items.  That’s it for me.  I do want to thank those that came out to support our Mini Cheer Clinic on Saturday.  We had over 30 students come out to work with our Cheer squad and support this fundraiser as our girls get ready for the Crescent City tournament in March.  Have a great night.  Let’s Expect the Best and GO COUGARS!
